Hey, I'm Katherine! A lil' about me: I grew up in LA, moved to New England for college, spent a summer in Israel and loved it so much that I made aliyah right after graduation. 5 years, 3 elections and at least 4 wars later I’m still going strong, and there’s no place I’d rather be than Israel ;-) 
**Where I'm at in life** I’ve been working in tech for 4+ years, primarily in UX. I just finished my Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction at Reichman, and currently my main thing is working as the co-founder and designer of this app. On the side, I write for a feminist philosophy project focused on the erasure of female and lesbian specificity in the academy, with a particular emphasis on butch/femme. When I’m not busying myself with work or the gym, I love to visit art galleries, go to the movies or theater, and watch sports. Anything culture-related captivates me, and I’d love to hear more about whatever you’re passionate about. 
**Roots and Values** I was raised mostly secular in a mixed-religious family, and I became Modern Orthodox while living in New England. Heritage-wise I'm Mexican-American (No hablo español, triste), White + Ashkenazi (through my dad's dad, I did giyur). BH, my folks are fully supportive, we’ve been doing Shabbat meals as a family for many years now. Fun Fact / Perk of Dating Me: My parents moved from LA to Hawaii when I made aliyah. I’m shomeret shabbat and kashrut and looking for a partner who values her Judaism highly, even if her observance level isn’t the same as mine. Israel is my home and I want to stay here. **More about me** I have a go-getter, take charge kind of personality. Yes, this carries over to the bedroom. But also, I usually make plans for the group, that kind of thing. My friends come to me knowing that I’m a good shoulder to cry on, but also to hear honest, critical takes from a loving place. I believe strongly in taking responsibility for one’s own path in life and facing difficult things head on to become stronger. I’m not postmodern in my thinking at all, I really believe that truth exists and deserves to be spoken. And I really, really love women. So what am I looking for? Well, I know enough to know that you can't ever really know the details. Broadly, I want to find an inquisitive, beautiful woman to fall in love with and build a life together.
